Meet the Doctors

Dr. Duy-Anh Vu, DDS

Dr. Duy aims to treat patients with a gentle and thoughtful approach to help patients achieve their dental goals.  Dr. Duy is happy to be serving the Ashburn Community as well as the wider Northern Virginia area.  He strives to provide the best dental care – working with you to make the right treatment decisions.  He believes in providing great service and works towards fulfilling everyone’s ultimate dental goals. To Dr Duy, every patient is a V.I.P. 

Dr Duy graduated from New York University College of Dentistry.   He also received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in the field of Biology from St. John’s University in Queens, NY.  After finishing his dental training, he returned to his hometown in nearby Chantilly.  He has always considered Northern Virginia home and looks forward to spending many years working with patients in a lifelong commitment to excellent care.  

Away from work, he can be found running around town with his wife, son, and daughter.  Dr Duy enjoy traveling, cooking, and gaming.  Share your favorite travels and recipes with him and he’ll be very happy to talk about it. 

Dr. Cliff Chen, DDS, MS

Cliff Chen DDS, MS, is a board-certified periodontist.

He believes that every patient should be treated the same as we would a family member. Sometimes less is more and he would not do any unnecessary treatment if it were not needed.

Dr. Chen was born in the United States and raised in Taipei, Taiwan where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors in 2006. Dr. Chen earned his Master of Science and specialty in periodontics from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine in 2013.

Dr. Chen is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and is board-certified. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese.

During his free time, he enjoys playing golf, running, camping, and traveling with his family. Dr. Chen looks forward to meeting you and assisting you with any periodontal and implant needs you may have.

Dr. Nadia A. Ghafoor, General Dentist

Dr. Nadia is excited to be joining VIP Dental! She grew up in Richmond and attended Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), earning her Bachelor’s degree and Dental degree.

Dr. Nadia is a strong believer that oral health is a strong indicator of overall health, so putting emphasis on educating her patients on the importance of oral wellness is an integral part of her philosophy. Dr. Nadia’s goal for her patients is to create a strong foundation of great oral health and provide them with preventative care with minimally invasive treatment options. She stays up to date with dentistry’s latest advancement so she can provide patients with the best care and dental experience possible.

Dr. Nadia also speaks Farsi/Dari and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and playing tennis. She looks forward to meeting you soon!

Kelly, Dental Hygienist

Kelly, our newest hygienist, is very excited to help you achieve your dental hygiene goals. Kelly grew up in Burke, VA and received her Bachelor’s degree from VCU in 2021. 

Kelly is a passionate advocate for oral health and committed to helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral well-being.  Kelly strives for compassionate professional care for all her patients.

Kelly enjoys sushi and traveling.  She also is an avid Pokemon go player!  Kelly is looking forward to treating our patients.
